What's the best way to go for a drastic colour change?

Hi Hair Doctor,

I think I want to change my hair colour to bright red! I have blue / grey eyes, cool skin tones, pale and pink, oval face and my natural colour is a dull light brown-dark blonde! I want a drastic change so could you also tell me what style you think would work best too please?

At HOB Salons we assess the skin tone and eye colour to decide on the most suitable colour palette for our clients. Most people can carry off red hair; it is just about achieving the perfect shade to suit you! For cooler skin tones steer away from orange hues, which are too warm, and more towards cooler red / violet hues that will compliment your skin tone much more. Try using conditioning semi-permanent colour for high shine.
