MACK was launched in October 2004 by husband and wife team Andrew and Tina Mack.

Both of the salons are situated in Chelmsford, one at Springfield Basin, Wharf Road and the other one just up the road in Moulsham Street.

MACK creates a complete luxury experience from the moment you walk through the door. MACK provides a number of services, including shiatsu back massage chairs and custom built furniture to ensure relaxation.  MACK also offers a text messaging appointment reminder service,climate control and at our Wharf Road salon even an outside terrace in the spring and summer for clients or waiting friends/family members to enjoy.

MACK is not just about a haircut – it’s about designing the whole package for our clients. Our expertly trained stylists will recommend hair and colour services that will suit the face shape, complexion and lifestyle of each individual client, recommending the best products and tools to help maintain their style at home.

MACK welcomes male and female customers of all ages.

In October 2004, Andrew and Tina Mack of award-winning Five Star salon group MACK opened their first salon – setting out to be an innovator, not an imitator. Just over four years on, they've achieved just that and couldn't have dreamed of the success they've had!

The beautiful, waterside location in Wharf Road, Chelmsford, Essex sets off the salon's stunning interior. Every detail has been catered for including mini LCD screens and relaxing shiatsu massage chairs, and with a combination of professional expertise and excellent customer care, you'll find yourself looking forward to your next appointment as soon as you leave.

In addition to the range of cutting and colouring services for ladies and gents, MACK offers a whole range of bespoke services such as permanent straightening, hair extensions, bridal hair and make-up.

There is a retail area within the salon that allows customers to pop in and browse a wide selection of professional products. The MACK team's extensive knowledge enables them to provide the best recommendations for the customer's hair care needs.

In 2008, MACK won the L'Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy – the highest accolade of the hairdressing world. This has been an amazing addition to the trophy cabinet, bringing forward many fantastic opportunities. Other wins include two British Hairdressing Business Awards, three Mid Essex Business Awards, the Kerastase UK 'Signature du Service' and a host of training awards.

Now with an additional salon located in Moulsham Street, Chelmsford, MACK has a 40-strong team and is going from strength to strength.
