HOB Salons hold hair high at BINTM Live

HOB Salons were at the forefront of the fashion world this weekend as their award-winning hairdressing expertise was called upon once again by Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model Live for the star-studded event that ran across the weekend of the 28th – 30th of October.

Styling all the models from the Sky Living series as they prepared to take to the main stage catwalk for the daily shows, 2009 London Hairdresser of the Year, Darren Bain, headed the team for all the live shows. The buzz backstage was euphoric and reflected in the models' performance, with one of the final 13 models , Joanne Northey, tweeting:

That wasn’t the only place the HOB Salons ‘vibe’ was taking effect; Darren was presenting daily live Stop and Chop sessions on the Kiss Open Catwalk with the audience watching as he transformed members of the audience in front of the large packed-out crowd.

And if that wasn’t enough, the official hairstyling team for the three-day extravaganza - HOB Salons - cemented their presence at the event with their very own stand, offering free styling services to all BINTM Live visitors. Demonstrating the skills that draw in loyal celebrity clients such as BINTM Exhibitor Lauren Goodger as well as numerous other T.O.W.I.E cast members alongside a host of other A-Listers including the likes of Pixie Lott and Esme Denters to name a few. Guests to the event were taken from bland to beautiful within moments, with the team providing quick-fix styling, 'how to' tips, fringe trims and blow-dries, the word soon spread as the queues began to form and the team got to work.

The event was a success for hair happenings across the board, with the models sporting their tresses down the catwalk and the stylists on hand to banish bad hair days at the stand.

Events like these are always fantastic! The buzz amongst the team was reflected in the amazing work they produced and the demand for styling on the stand was overwhelming. Following the great response we had when we did the hair last year for the launch of the event, we were thrilled to be asked back this year to BINTM Live and the response from the models, production team and visitors has been amazing. I’m already thinking about next year!
