Can a colourist give me multi-tonal blonde hues on top of bleach so that I am still blonde but more of a natural blonde?

Hi,

Please answer my query I just want to feel like me again :-(

Ok here goes, I currently now have, after a few disasters, bleach blonde highlights. However it’s almost now a block colour with a few golden tones. My question is can a colourist give me multi-tonal blonde hues on top of the bleach so that I am still blonde but more of a natural blonde?

I have in the past tried darker lowlights and I know these wash out quickly and leave awful golden tones to my hair. Is it possible to have multi-tonal hues using different shades of light blondes or will they wash out?

I would really appreciate your advice x

This sounds like a confusing predicament. You wanted chocolate, you got black, now you are wanting blonde. The uneven blonde colour is probably down to the products used and the timings of them.

I think before addressing the colour you should be more concerned with the condition of your hair. If the colourist could gently cleanse the hair of the heavy colour and return you to a chocolate type shade then this maybe is better for the hair in regards to the shine and condition.

If you are intent on going blonde then with all the colour that is on the hair at the moment the only product that can be used to lighten it is a bleach, then afterwards a toner in your desired shade should be applied to get the right type of golden blonde.

Hope you get there whichever direction you choose.
