Hi,

I have naturally curly hair that doesn't grow below my shoulders. Is it possible to perm it and would this help my hair grow?

Samantha, I can imagine how frustrating this can be for you when you're trying to grow you hair, but I can assure you it will grow past your shoulders.

The problem can be that the hair gathers around the shoulder blades so is pushed up and makes it look as if it's not growing - but it will, as that's what hair does regardless of length and texture.

Make sure you invest in a good quality shampoo and conditioner, keep the curls hydrated as much as possible and don't over wash it. I would recommend NIOXIN system three or four for you, it promotes strength at the roots and is proven to make hair stronger and grow by 77%.

Keep it trimmed every 10-12 weeks, not six as this will mean you're cutting off what grows.

You will get there I promise!
