My hair is too golden, can I get it back to a more natural tone?

Hi,

What would you suggest me to ask for when I am visiting my new hairdresser on Tuesday? I have been highlighting my hair since forever- it has a lot of dimension.

Right now it does however feel like it is way to golden for my Scandinavian skin tone and I dream about going back to my natural tone, I just can’t remember what that would be exactly. I have both light red-head genes as well as ashy brown, and as a child my hair was both blonde and ash with golden streaks and hints of strawberry in summertime.

My eyebrows are blonde and non existent but I do tan. I am very interested in creating my natural hair colour in an Ombre, what do you think about this?

I love the Ombre or stretched root look! It is very on trend and is very wearable. I’d suggest going to a salon for an in-depth consultation with a colour technician to give you more understanding into your natural colouring and what colour would best suit your skin tone. Your hairdresser will be able to advise you further on how to achieve this look.
