Why would a Brazilian blow-dry type treatment damage my hair?

You are here

I recently had the Lisse Design Keratin Therapy treatment and was told that it was a Brazilian blow-dry treatment.

Unfortunately my hair is ruined from this - it is very dry and has broken off in places. My hair is highlighted and I was wondering if this would affect the treatment? I have since been back to the hairdressers and was given a conditioning treatment, but this has made no difference.

Do you have any suggestions or is it just a case of waiting for it to grow out?

Thank you,

I would like to start off by saying that I have been using the Lissie Design Treatment for five years and have never had this experience. Timing and experience with these products is essential. To rectify the damage that has been caused, I would recommend the JOICO Four Step Treatment.

K-PAK’s multi-action formulas feature mega doses of revolutionary Bio-Advanced Peptide and Quadramine complexes — the most powerful reconstructive technologies known to hair — to repair and strengthen hair precisely where it needs it.

This would be an in-salon treatment, which can be topped-up at home with Revitaluxe. After a few weeks your hair will feel more like your own hair again.

Good Luck,
