Monday 23rd January was the day that all six of The ClubStar Art Team began their exciting year ahead. Greeted by new Project Leader Simon Tuckwell and mentor for the day Debbie G, they started the session with some fantastic social media tips that will ensure they raise their profile throughout the year.
Next up was an opportunity for The ClubStar Art Team to share their own aspirations, as well as their current achievements before Debbie G went through some advice on how to improve their presentation skills. This was the perfect stepping stone for everyone to then present their own ‘About Me’ mood boards and really get to know each other ready for the year ahead.
The afternoon developed their presentation skills further, as everyone presented images of their choice that inspires them in their own career. The feedback from Debbie G was invaluable, as she provided tips that developed these presentations further.
The day ended with The ClubStar Art Team being divided into two groups of three as they put together some information on both The Fellowship and ClubStar - a perfect way to recap an exciting day.

Debbie G was a fantastic mentor! She gave us plenty of information with lots of useful tips in how we can break down the process of presenting. The feedback was so important for all of us and we all know how we can work on our own body language and control our nerves better. Debbie also identified our strengths so we can focus on these and be true to ourselves. The day gave me so much more confidence and we all feel ready for the year ahead.
