A Big 2019 Ahead for the Altered Image Team

The team at Altered Image in Newmarket, Suffolk, are gearing up for a busy and successful 2019, with awards, new babies and a salon expansion all on the horizon.

As the New Year rolls in, so do plans for a new salon. Altered Image owners, Carmen and Zoe are set to expand their business in 2019 with a brand new sister salon in Lakenheath. The new premise is currently undergoing a full refurbishment, and can expect its big opening night late January/early February.

With the new salon out the way, it’s on to the English Hair and Beauty Awards where Altered Image is a finalist in the ‘Best Local Salon’ category. With over 40,000 votes this year, the Altered Image team will be up against some of the best in the industry; hoping to walk away as the crowned winners at the grand final on March 3rd.

With a new possible award under the salon’s belt and with a huge growing clientele, Carmen and Zoe have welcomed two new stylists to their glam squad. Amy and Amanda now take the Altered Image team up to four, and will be offering a wide range of services for both men and women. Newly qualified Amy is also offering her clients 20% off all services until the end of January.

Finally, 2019 will see the birth of Altered Image stylist, Laverda’s new baby. Leaving for maternity leave on the 7th December, she will return part time in September – with some ‘keeping in touch’ days planned for June, July and August.
