The five wanderlust styling tools are available in limited edition hot summer hues, inspired by unique encounters across the globe and set to become the new summer travel essentials.

Where will your hair take you?

New and exclusive for spring/summer 17 is the eclectic ghd Wanderlust trend collection, styled by Global Brand Ambassador Adam Reed. The four trends, Hollywood Luxe, Adornment, New Bohemian and Modern Romance, deliver hair inspiration for summer escapism, exploration and expression. Dafydd took audience members through the journey behind the creation of each trend,

The idea behind the Wanderlust campaign and our new trend collection is to understand where trends originate from, how they develop and how they are represented across the globe. We are encouraging you to share your take on the trends by using #GlobalHairDays. ghd as a brand are proud to be at the forefront of trend forecasting and inspiration whilst providing the tools needed to help stylists bring their hair ambitions to life.

Dafydd then introduced red carpet styling guru and ghd guest artist, Patrick Wilson, who styled two gorgeous models influenced by the Hollywood Luxe and Modern Romance trends. Patrick said,

Whenever I think of red carpet hair I always think of long, copper hair with sculpted soft waves, whereas my Modern Romance take is something a bit more fun and flirty with bouncy tousled curls. These looks are my interpretation, but I’m excited to see what styles the #GlobalHairDays campaign inspires and creates!

Up next was guest speaker and photographer, Richard Gray, who shared his expertise on mobile photography and how to take that perfect Instagram-ready shot. His hints and tips on composition, light and post-production editing were valuable bites of information for the tech-savvy millennial audience.
