Alan Howard Complete 127 Mile Walk for Charity

A dedicated team of hikers from Alan Howard braved the 127-mile canal walk from Liverpool to Leeds in just four days.

The team completed the challenge between Friday September 10 - Monday September 13 and endured over 40 hours of walking along the canal towpath.

The team have raised over £3,000 so far for the Hair & Beauty Charity which offers financial support to individuals and their families facing difficult times due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, bereavement, or financial hardship.

Paul Brooks, national sales manager, said:

Despite the aches, pains, bruises, and blisters still being present, I know I speak for all of the team when I say we are very proud of our achievement. The 127 miles challenged us mentally as much as they did physically, but we got through it due to some great teamwork and a lot of laughter. A huge thank you to everyone that sponsored us and sent us messages of encouragement, it helped enormously.
