ASP X Drawing Cabaret Couture

Global haircare brand, ASP Expert Haircare, have partnered with Drawing Cabaret Couture for London Fashion Week 2022, with this year being the biggest online drawing week yet!

Drawing Cabaret Couture celebrates Art and Fashion with five days of online inspirational drawing classes live streamed to your screens. We’re talking 5 Haute Couture designers, 5 models, 5 unique set designs for 5 fashion editorials with ASP Expert Haircare ambassadors providing the must have hairstyles for day 1, 2, 3 and 5 to accompany these iconic looks.

Day 1 with @Hairbydarrel & @nicolakristel_hair

Designer Ella Douglas blends her fashion practice with art for day 1. She showcased two inspiring looks that were made to make a statement. Her designs are the results of a vivid desire to create something unusual, something able to generate strong reactions, whether they are positive or negative.

LOOK 1: The large lattice dress

The lattice dress made from scrap fabric takes inspiration from surrealism and aims to imagine high society in a sustainable utopia. Darrel Starkey, ASP Colour Rebel, said, 

The look we created was all about structure and texture to match the outfits that were being used on the day. When designing the look a solid foundation was the key element to the look, ensuring the hair was prepped and ready to hold all the styles we were creating.
