Award-winning Duo Demonstrates How to be a Male Grooming Hero!

Share

Stylists from around the UK recently came together to develop their barbering skills at Passion4Hair’s popular ‘Eufora Hero Cutting Class’ in Milton Keynes. Hosted by three times Irish Barber of the Year Luke Duffy and the first female Irish Barber of the Year Kristine Eglite, this was a male grooming master class.

Luke and Kristine showcased their acclaimed barbering expertise through a variety of cutting techniques before going on to share their top tips for looking after male clientele and being in tune with this dynamic moving market. Top tips from the day included:

  1. Continued education is key, no matter whether you are just starting out or have been in the business 20 years, education = success!
  2. Involve your client in every aspect of the haircut from start to finish, by doing this the client feels you understand exactly what he is looking for. This is also a safe guard for you as the client has given you permission.
  3. The client is not always right. If you feel strongly against what your client wants and believe it will have a negative impact on your shop, take the hit and don't do it. A small hit now will save big down the line especially when your name is attached to the service.

The pair emphasised that in a fast-moving marketplace it is key for clients that you are working with quality products that you know inside out. For this talented pair, their go-to product is the Eufora Hero for Men range, which is a must in their kit bags. Throughout the afternoon, the inspired group then had the opportunity to practice their new skills with a hands-on cutting and clipper work session, completing their looks with the vast array of Hero products on offer.

What a great day! says B-Styled manager Brian Mitchell Wallace. Luke and Kristine made us all feel at ease, and through the extra tips they gave us I came away feeling really confident of what I am doing in the Barber’s Lounge within the salon.

I had so much fun! I learned a lot of new skills which has really improved my barbering knowledge. I highly recommend this class to bring out the barber in you! says Chloe King from Coco’s Hair in Eastbourne.
