Multi award-winning hair and beauty salon, Hairven has recently opened a second salon in Beeston, and with a five week wait for appointments, they are revolutionising the Beeston hair and beauty scene.
Hairven announced their arrival with an extravagant opening party on Saturday 21st May. Over 450 people attended including existing clients, beauty bloggers and key movers and shakers from the Nottingham hair and beauty scene. Guests were treated to a tour of the luxurious new salon, which includes a couples treatment room, cocktail bar, nail bar, state-of-the-art sound system and massage chairs.
Before opening the Beeston salon, Hairven previously had one salon in Gedling, which was opened in 2012 and has since gone on to gain a loyal client base, along with an array of trade and business awards.
Owner Collette Osborne gave up a corporate career in accounting to set up the salon, inspired by her late Mother-in-Law, Wendy. Wendy had suffered with cancer and was upset by the lack of availability of hairdressers who would deal with her sympathetically, without causing embarrassment. Collette, who had always secretly longed to work in the hair and beauty industry, pledged to change this and Hairven was born.
Following the success of the Gedling salon, ambitious business women Collette decided Beeston would be the next location for a salon,
I chose Beeston, as Wendy worked at Boots for 35 years, and so I have a very deep bond with the town. Just as I do with Gedling, where I come from and where Wendy is buried.
As well as the various hair and beauty treatments available - including the Bee Sting Facial, a celebrity favourite - Hairven is also a training academy and runs a number of courses that people have already signed up to attend.
With a five week wait for appointments, the salon is currently recruiting stylists to cope with the high demand, ensuring they can provide their five star pampering service to as many clients as possible.
