Francessca Boyce from Bentley & Brown in Morriston, Swansea is celebrating after reaching the finals of Wella XPOSURE 2017.
XPOSURE is a hairdressing competition solely aimed at hairdressing students – an opportunity for them to take their first steps on the competition ladder. Reaching the regional final, Francessca had to create a commercial colour and cut by photographic entry and submit a 500 word count describing the look.
After she breezed through the regional finals, Francessca found herself in the grand final at the Wella World Studios in London, where she got to meet Patrick Cameron and chat with other fellow stylists about the competition and hairdressing in general. Speaking on her finalist position, Francessca said,
I am ecstatic to have got to the final. It was worth the work and determination, and I'm on cloud nine and very proud to be the only one in Wales to achieve this award. It’s only just beginning.
Salon owners Sarah Brown-Dolan and Stacey Bentley-Evans said,
