Blondes Are Having Fun!

Share

So just what hairstyles are in Vogue for this coming season? We asked Halifax salon William Priestley, which has become a success story since opening in 2007, achieving a five star rating with the Good Salon Guide - to outline what it will be offering customers as the weather turns colder.

Principal, Billy Priestley says,

Colouring this season is rich using warmer tones to condition hair and allow for shorter styles to grow again. Blondes are still having fun but are fewer in numbers.

Short geometric cutting with shock colouring in pastels is a trend for this season this being the hangover style from the dip-dye look of last season.

Partings are back either low or middle. Autumn/winter 2012 catwalks championed up-dos from pincurls through to plaits ensuring versatality. Androgynous looks are still strong with precision cutting at its best, this coupled with bold makeup - think pretty boy chic for girls.

Hair is still the fashion item to invest in and where to splurge if the purse strings allow. It is the only fashion accessory you have got to wear everyday and cannot take off, from cutting to colouring, shampooing to straightening, ensure you are looking after those locks the best you can. Fashion magazines have all favoured a good blow-dry to a blow your budget dress for an event or night out.
