Browns Bring The Fashion Runway To Dumfriesshire

Nelson Brown and his fashion-forward team at browns hosted an up close and personal fashion runway event for the locals of Annan in Dumfries and Galloway.

Regulars on the fashion circuit, Nelson and his team are often seen backstage working fashion week in London, Europe and further afield. With their vast hairdressing knowledge and skills, especially in the world of trend-led hairstyling, Nelson wanted to produce a localised event where he could bring the styles of fashion week to the streets of Dumfries.

The event, which took place on the 29th January, was hosted in collaboration with the newly renovated 'The Anglers' cocktail venue situated on the High Street of Annan. Over 150 guests attended the event where they were treated to a spectacular fashion show produced by Nelson, Trae and browns' in-house fashion stylist Katie - who styled eight ladies and two men on the night.

Once the runway show was finished the audience were treated to an open question and answer session where Nelson and his team answered questions regarding hairstyling, products, tips, the latest trends and of course, what goes on backstage at fashion week - giving a real fashion-forward insight as to how, when and where these social trends come from and how they influence the everyday.
