The Andrew Collinge Awards, supported by TIGI Creative, took place recently at the World Museum in Liverpool.

Each year the Andrew Collinge Awards provide an opportunity for teams from all ten salons to come together and celebrate success in both business and creative fields.

This year also saw the announcement of Creative Stylist of the Year, who will enjoy an all-expenses paid shoot at the TIGI Bed Head Studios. Entrants in this category had to present mood boards to a judging panel which included TIGI Global Creative Director Nick Irwin and TIGI Global Technical Director Christel Lundqvist, and then on the night showcase their work in a live catwalk show.

Further entertainment on the night came from the creative Bruce Airhead, and staff also had the chance to explore the museum after hours with tarot-card readings and a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party to really make the evening memorable.

Looking back on the night, Andrew commented,

This year’s awards were truly fantastic we love doing something different each year and rewarding our staff for all the hard work they do throughout the year. Each year the standard gets higher and higher and I have to say this year we have seen exceptional talent. We recognise not only winners but those who are continuously improving as we really believe that each individual member of our team is special and deserves their own particular recognition of success.
