ClubStar X Rush

Share

The first ClubStar event of 2017 took place on Monday 13th February with Rush taking to the stage to wow the audience with looks from their Sports Luxe and S&M Punk collections.

After a networking and drinks reception, the audience took to their seats with Kerry Mather welcoming everyone to the event before introducing the Rush Art Team to the stage. MJ Farmer and Cameron Byrne joined Jamie Benny for the first section of the night. MJ did a beautiful live colour that was inspired by the current looks and techniques that are part of the education process for the youngsters at Rush. It was the S&M Punk collection that inspired Cameron with his disconnected haircut that had lots of beautiful movement. Jamie was then joined by Sophie Chandler as they showcased stunning session work incorporating braiding, plaiting and curling. The audience were given the opportunity to get right up close to their work, with Sophie joined by a member of the audience to assist her.

Once the style creations were complete, it was then a chance to hear about Jamie’s involvement with The F.A.M.E. Team, as he explained the amazing experience he had and the process he went through to be chosen.

It was a fantastic first ClubStar event for 2017 and my first as the new Project Leader. I absolutely loved being part of such an incredible evening and Rush put on a brilliant show. What was presented was diverse and exciting and certainly had the wow factor.
