The Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards have become the leading celebration of hair and beauty professionals that operate in the country.

Incredible contenders ranging from stylists, colour technicians, barbers, academies and most wanted salons amongst others are to receive an award this year in a memorable celebration that will take place on Sunday December 8th, at The Doubletree by Hilton in Glasgow.

CocoBella Studio, Glasgow is finalists in two categories: salon owner, Laura Byrne is up for Extensions Specialist of the Year, and the salon is up for Best of Glasgow. Laura and her team will find out if they have managed to win the competition and grab an accolade at the elegant event being held in December.

The Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards will be more than an awards ceremony this year. Creative Oceanic have launched The Christmas Toy Bank Appeal in partnership with Anas Sarwar MSP for Glasgow. This is coordinated by Children 1st and Glasgow Women’s Aid to guarantee a Christmas present for every child in Scotland.

Charlene Young, Campaign Manager of The Hair and Beauty Awards 2019, said:

Some of the most iconic stylists, beauticians and well-known salons got shortlisted in this year’s Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards, making it a really fierce competition.

Our aim is to highlight the strong presence and profitability of the country’s hair and beauty industry and recognise the professionals whose talent, ethos and excellence have put them forward to receive the recognition they deserve.

We are also very happy to provide a platform this year to fundraise for The Christmas Toy Bank Appeal which is an amazing cause. We can’t wait to welcome all our guests and deliver an enjoyable event. We would like to wish all finalists the best of luck.
