ConfiDanceā„¢ & Anti Bullying Campaign are joining forces with local businesses for a ground breaking event at DG One in Dumfries.

ConfiDance founder Louise McVie, originally from Dalbeattie, set-up the campaign to help underprivileged children within Dumfries & Galloway who are suffering from severe emotional and social issues.

Louise said,

I wanted to give back something to the kids of the community who lack many things that most children take for granted.

The campaign will allow local children to express suppressed emotions through the form of dance while building on confidence and self-esteem.

The success of this event very much relies on the support of local businesses and people to raise awareness. A black tie event has been organised at DG One to help raise funds and awareness. Louise has also partnered up with some influential local people who are also playing a vital role in the campaign.

Renowned businessman and award-winning hairstylist Nelson Brown is also co-organising the event alongside Louise where he will feature heavily in a never seen before creative piece. Browns will be working on two separate runway sections where the team will be using their creative flair to create spectacular hairstyles and designs.

The evening will also feature live music, catwalk fashion, dance performances and lots more.
