Concept Hair welcomes Matthew Batham as its new Editor

SNG Publishing is excited to announce that renowned industry journalist Matthew Batham is joining its team as Editor of Concept Hair.

Matthew’s long career as a journalist has seen his work published in a variety of market leading magazines covering such industries as retail, catering, travel, commercial property, beauty and hairdressing.

Between 2006 and 2017, Matthew worked for leading industry title Hairdressers Journal International. During his time with HJ, Matthew made a huge contribution to the brand, not only as deputy editor of HJ itself, but as launch editor of sister title HJ Men.

After three years working in freelance journalism and PR, Matthew is excited to be joining the Concept Hair team and contributing to the title’s continued success.

Matthew said:

I have always been passionate about encouraging new talent within the hairdressing industry, and Concept Hair is the only magazine dedicated to inspiring the next generation of hairdressers. I can’t wait to play a part in the continued growth of this exceptional brand, and work with a team that has a clear focus on the future.

Matthew’s first magazine will be the Winter 2021 issue of Concept Hair, which is due to be published in January.
