This year, the Tara Rose team was once again excited to participate and attend the Professional Beauty Awards in Dubai.
Knowing that the best of the best is showcased at the premier event of the year, we were privileged to be part of this annual gala and be recognized as finalists in eight overall categories, including Salon Stylist of the Year, Colourist of the Year, Manager of the Year, Hair Salon of the Year, Team of the Year and Business Director of the Year. As well as two new categories: Eyelash Technician of the Year and Nail Professional of the Year.
Our very own Blossom Day won the award for the 2023 Colourist of the Year. After winning, Blossom shared, “I am still in shock to win this award amongst such strong talent. It took me by surprise. I’m excited to participate and enter again next year–already brainstorming.”
To add to the excitement of the evening, the entire team took the distinction of winning Team of the Year for the fourth time, third year consecutively. It was once again all cheers from those in attendance and awaiting the news elsewhere. For us, there is no better award to be had.
But the capstone of the evening came as Tara, the founder and namesake of the salon was named Business Director of the Year. A truly momentous accomplishment, described by the host of the event as being inducted into the Hall of Fame, as it is now her third time consecutively winning this award.
Tara says of the event and her win, “Being nominated for an award is a huge honour in and of itself. It's someone recognising the hard work and accomplishment you've achieved in your field. But to not only be nominated for one single award, but collectively as a team to be nominated for 12, was truly an honour for us this year.”
