Darren Ambrose has just returned from Berlin, where he brought to life the AW14/15 Borderline Beauty Prêt a Porter collection to Wella's global head trainers at their 'Train the Trainer’ event.

It is the job of Wella’s top artists to create their interpretation of the Wella Trends of the season. The three trends that Darren created, along with colourist Abby Smith, will be used globally by Wella Professionals to promote Trend 14. The images will be used on banners and posters for salons, trade press, events, marketing and PR and education, as well as being featured in the Wella Create Book and online, YouTube and more where salons can follow 'how to' instructions in order to recreate the looks.

Darren’s innovative creative skills are very much in demand, and his recent commitments have included a prestigious shoot with Josh Wood for Wella to launch a brand new colour product later this year - Josh took colouring duties whilst Darren styled the looks. His other commitments have included a trend shoot in Germany, ICON seminars in London and Manchester, seminars in Geneva and Edinburgh, Pro Hair Live, The Fellowship's Men's Night and judging the latest Wella Trend Vision competition.

Speaking of his hectic schedule and work commitments, Darren said,

It’s been an incredibly busy start to the year and I’m absolutely loving it! The Borderline Beauty event was fantastic to do and it’s always exciting to be shooting so much.
