Dressing Up for the F.A.M.E. Team with Patrick Cameron

It was another amazing day for The F.A.M.E. Team on Tuesday 5th July as they got to learn from the ultimate showman, Patrick Cameron.

Patrick’s message for the day was the importance of communication in everything they do, and he was able to explain his own unique journey which has led him to travel the world with his expertise and passion. His 29 years in the industry was full of personal stories and advice, with him also explaining just how he navigated his way through an exciting array of experiences.

Following this introduction Patrick was able to show The F.A.M.E. Team several classic techniques that were styled in his own unique and personal way. These shapes were taken into several different directions and he certainly made sure it was fun, informative and most importantly educational.

The afternoon was a chance for Jamie, Melissa, Rosie and Zoe to get hands on in a workshop environment. Patrick took the time to really assist everyone individually and the buzz in the room did not stop from start to finish.

Being mentored by Patrick Cameron was such a surreal moment for me! I grew up reading his books with him also being my Mum’s hair idol. It was amazing to see foundation techniques simplified by him and then how to make these current. We all really enjoyed working with Patrick because of the sheer amount of passion he displays in everything he does. It made us want to learn more and more. His showmanship is second to none as he even shared some tips for us on how to engage an audience when presenting. The cherry on the top of the day was when he Face Timed my Mum and surprised her to say hello, the look on her face was priceless! A great guy and a complete legend!

An incredible master class that was an education into how to present yourself and beautiful long hair. Patrick shared so much throughout the day and he took the time to share lots of stage secrets with The F.A.M.E. Team which will help them throughout their future career.
