Ego Hair Design nominated finalist in The Scottish Independent Retail Awards 2011

Local Inverness hairdressing salon Ego Hair Design, located at Kenneth Street in the city has been nominated in The Scottish Independent Retail Awards 2011 in the Hair & Beauty category.

The finalists have been shortlisted as a result of a flood of nominations from the public nationwide, eager to ensure that their most loved ‘independents’ did not go unnoticed and were rewarded for their hard work, talents and contribution to local enterprise.

Caroline Sanderson, owner of the Inverness-based salon said,

It’s really been an incredible year for all of us at Ego Hair Design and we really do love what we do. My team and I hope to be able to bring Inverness a further win, and keep Highlands hairdressing at the top!

The glitzy awards night will be held at the Marriott Hotel in Glasgow on Thursday 13th October 2011. The sparkling occasion recognises and rewards independent retailers for their hard work, commitment and dedication to their businesses. The Scottish Independent Retail Awards highlight the value that independent retailers add to the communities and country they operate within.  The Awards also celebrate the entrepreneurial flair and business acumen that the best in the business possess, nurturing their ventures to success.

Ego Hair Design’s successes have been varied since opening from showcasing their photographic collections worldwide to successful, notable marketing campaigns using social media. The salon recently won Hair Salon of The Year as well as Ego stylist Jenna Platt winning Stylist of The Year at the Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards 2011.
