Balmain Paris Hair Couture presents their Fall/Winter 2017 Campaign featuring Coco Rocha, Luz Pavon, Jon Kortajarena, Sasha Luss, Estelle Lefébure, Ines Rau and Noémie Lenoir, shot by Jean-Baptiste Mondino under the creative direction of Balmain Hair Creative Director, Nabil Harlow.
The Fall-Winter 2017 campaign was created based on a celebration of diversity throughout the world in 2017. It portrays a very relevant global discussion where a closer look is given to beauty and what this term encapsulates.
For the first time we are presenting a short hairstyle for women who are not afraid of reinvention, whilst knowing that Balmain Paris Hair Couture range offers unlimited possibilities and the flexibility to go back to longer styles anytime. Nabil Harlow
Through seven individual portraits Nabil Harlow showcases the diversity and range that the Balmain Hair Couture collection offers. Nabil took to formulating special product and tool combinations to create the perfect treatment for each look.
The combination of black and white photography and powerful stances were directed to create these images filled with attitude and strength.
Coco Rocha: To create this sleek short look, the Shine Wax was used in combination with the Silk Perfume.
Luz Pavon: Starting with the Thermal Protection Spray, the Infrared Blow-dryer with diffuser was used to accentuate Luz’s curls. The look was finished off with the Curl Cream to give a mesmerising shine and hold and definition.
Jon Kortajarena: Nabil used the Styling Powder and the Session Spray Strong to create Jon’s light and airy look.
Sasha Luss: The Texturizing Salt Spray and the Session Spray Medium were essential in creating this editorially stunning look for Sasha.
Estelle Lefébure: The Hair Dress was applied for a full and voluminous look. A combination of the Volume Mousse Strong, the Ceramic Brush 43MM and the Infrared Blow-dryer were used for styling.
Noémie Lenoir: To start, Noémie’s hair was prepped with the Signature Foundation followed by the Curl Cream, then blow-dried with the Infrared Blow-dryer with diffuser and finished with the Texturizing Salt Spray for an airy beach curl.
Ines Rau: Ines’s look was created by applying the Silk Tape to add length to her hair. The styling was done using the Thermal Protection Spray before straightening with the Professional Titanium Straightener, and finished off with the Argan Moisturizing Elixir for a silky shine.
