On the evening of Thursday 20th December saw Godalming transformed into a festive wonderland as the Surrey town lit up with sparkling lights, where market traders took to the streets and people arrived in great numbers listening to a well positioned Clarinet Quartet at The Pepperpot played Christmas numbers throughout the evening.

At Enzorosario the salon was at capacity as Olympic Gold Medallist Roger Black MBE and Paralympics Bronze Medallist Rachael Morris joined Dan Eley of the Dan Eley Foundation raising funds for his charity which helps street children in Columbia.

Manager Jeanette Esposito welcomed all that came along for photos with the Olympic torch and sport celebrities.  Jeanette said,

We haven't counted how much we've raised yet as it will be ongoing until January, however it was incredibly busy all evening and there was certainly a lot of Christmas spirit around.
