Enzorosario team raise £720 in Hope for Hannah campaign

On Wednesday 30th November 2011, the hairdressing team at popular Godalming salon Enzorosario Hair Design gave up their working day to raise money to put towards the Hope for Hannah campaign, by offering cuts and blow-dries or blow-dries for donations.

Dressed in movie character theme, the team looked after many colleagues, friends, clients and passers-by who couldn't resist their charms to raise £720, a figure that will increase by the weekend as they continue to raise funds by way of raffle.

27-year-old Hannah Bradley who lives locally, was diagnosed with a life-threatening brain tumour. Following weeks of tests and investigation, the diagnosis was that of Anaplastic Astrocytoma. Unfortunately after a successful operation, Hannah’s progress was hindered by a further diagnosis of Grade III tumour.

Treatment options for the salon team’s friend are limited and will now reach to US-based Doctor Burzynski who has a reputable name in her condition. The treatment cost is £150,000. To date, the local area has raised in excess of £24,000 and the Enzorosario team intend on helping as much as they can.

Salon co-ordinator Catherine O'Donoghue explained:

This has really touched all of us and we intend on putting our skills to use to help Team Hannah reach the monetary target. The day had a joyful tone nonetheless as all efforts are reaching the target quicker.

Salon owner Jeanette Esposito added:

The local community is very supportive of our work including many local businesses and, of course, our local paper who couldn't resist snapping the team in their fancy dress outfits!
