Big and bouncy hair was the theme for the launch of Italian haircare brand Esla Italy, who took over the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham.
International Creative Director, Giannandrea Marongiu flew to the UK to showcase the products with luxurious hairstyles created using just two products: Volume Mousse and Elixir. “Today’s hairdressing is about identifying the modern woman and creating beautiful hair without the trickery, just the skill of the hairdresser and the science of beautiful hair products,” Giannandrea explained to the select audience. “It’s about performance and delivering the best hair that your clients expect and deserve.”
Giannandrea is the regular stylist at Victora Secret’s catwalk shows and has worked on the latest Stella Macartney campaign. Now, he brought these influences using two products and the flick of a wrist to create big, bouncy and luxe hairstyles perfect for the party season.
Esla Italy launched in the UK in the summer, promising to bring the science of beauty to haircare, with a collection ranging from Volume to Colour Care and Scalp Care. “Time is of the essence – celebrities and clients don’t want to sit in the chair for longer than they have to, so you need products that work fast and work in the way you want them to,” he explained, as he worked on just eight sections to create voluminous hairstyles.
UK distributor Darren Watkins from Elevate Salon Partners talked about the benefits of having a luxurious haircare in the salon. “When a client trusts you, you have to give that trust back by offering the very best products for their hair,” he said. “Esla Italy is a sustainable brand that unites science and beauty for optimal hair health, developed over 40 years exclusively for the hair professional.”
