The finalists for the Salon Business Awards have been announced and local salon, Essensuals and EssensualsMEN in Billericay, has finalised for the Male Grooming Salon category. The salon was selected as a finalist amongst thousands of other entries and will now compete at the Grand Final on June 10th at The Mondrian Hotel in London.
The Salon Business Awards are arranged by one of the most prestigious hairdressing trade magazines, Salon Business, and the awards recognise only the best talent in the industry from across the UK, which includes stylists, salons and salon group.
The judging panel for these fiercely contested awards know the industry inside out and include award-winning hairdressers, salon owners and product manufacturers. For Billericay salon, Essensuals and EssensualsMEN to be handpicked by these judges as one of the eight finalists for the Male Grooming salon category is an incredible achievement. Each of the finalists in all 14-salon categories is also an automatic finalist for the Salon Business Awards highest accolade – the Ultimate Salon of the Year. Presented to the salon that shines across the board there is an award for a small to medium salon and a large salon, based on the salon’s turnover.
Winning awards is not something unknown to the Essensuals and EssensualsMEN salon and owner, Jim Shaw, as Jim recently won the Best Men’s Commercial Collection Category at the International Hairdressing Awards – branding him as one of the best men’s hairdressers in the world! Jim also finalised for the Men’s Hairdresser of the Year Category last year at the British Hairdressing Awards, showing he and the salon are men’s hairdressing experts with an enviable reputation, worthy of winning this award. Owner of the salon, Jim Shaw, commented,
It’s been a fantastic start to the year for myself and my salon, Essensuals and EssensualsMEN, with winning the International Hairdressing Awards and now finalising for the Salon Business Awards. To be recognised by these incredible awards as the best Male Grooming Salon would be truly unbelievable and we look forward to attending the grand final next month. Fingers crossed it’s a win!
