Fellowship Fringe Inspires Scotland

On Monday 2nd November the atmospheric Voodoo Rooms in the heart of Edinburgh welcomed a sold out audience to the Fellowship’s eagerly anticipated Fringe event.

Bruno Marc welcomed everyone to a showcase of the creative excellence of The Fellowship and explained the desire, “to build and grow our membership” before he introduced Errol Douglas MBE and Gillian Solley to the stage.

Errol Douglas MBE described his own personal stories about his involvement with The Fellowship while also showcasing his beautiful looks inspired by editorial and fashion show work. Gillian Solley from Toni&Guy in Edinburgh demonstrated her session skills, with both experts receiving a resounding round of applause from the audience.

Chancellor Karine Jackson then took to the stage to introduce Colin McAndrew from Medusa in Edinburgh and Alan Findlay from Rebel Rebel in Glasgow. Both demonstrated the importance of new colouring techniques complimented by their skills and expertise in creating their mod inspired looks.

It was then an opportunity to find out more about President Bruno Marc in his interview with Karine Jackson. Bruno spoke fondly of his working relationship with his brothers at Marc Antoni and gave an insight into his personal development within The Fellowship and what it means to him. Bruno described winning Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year as one of his proudest moments, and it was apparent to everyone just how passionate he is about the industry and his role as President of The Fellowship.

Karine Jackson then introduced Akin Konizi from HOB Salons and Leslie Hunter from Frances Hunter Hair and Beauty, who captured the audience with their beautiful looks. Akin said,

HOB have been members of The Fellowship for over 30 years and it really is a fantastic platform for education and stage work for any hairdresser in the industry.

The grand finale was a stunning catwalk of all the models and the masters. Chancellor, Karine Jackson, said,

Tonight has been incredible and has been a great evening showcasing everything that is fantastic about The Fellowship. We cannot wait to return on 7th March next year when we will be back by popular demand in Scotland.
