Four Coveted Spots Available

Share

As the Fellowship for British Hairdressing prepares to relaunch its Projects for 2020, there are new opportunities for hairdressers to get involved with two spaces on both PROJECT: Colour and PROJECT: X.

All of the Fellowship’s Projects were put on hold for 2020 owing to the industry-wide lockdown, but will be resuming in January 2021 with even more opportunities for education, networking and profile building. Owing to changes with team members, there are now four converted spots available, across two Projects.

PROJECT: Colour

The Fellowship for British Hairdressing Colour Project 2019 PROJECT: Colour is the Fellowship’s dedicated colour program, providing colourists the chance to learn and grow through education and opportunities with the industry’s leading colour stars. PROJECT: Colour is completely unaffiliated with any manufacturers, which means education is across the board and delivered by the very best in British hairdressing – no matter which brand they work for, or which brand members use.

Led by multi award-winning colourist, Paul Dennison from Ken Picton salon, PROJECT: Colour gives its members the chance to learn from experts in education days, participate in stage work and shoot a collection – as well as growing from peer support, exceptional opportunities for networking and profile building and sessions covering presentation skills and social media.

PROJECT: Colour is open to any hairdresser with a good foundation in colouring, who is willing to work hard and be committed. There is no age limit, and you can work with any colour brand.

To apply, fill out the application form at fellowshiphair.com and send it in along with 3 images of your colour work. These do not need to be professional.

PROJECT: X

Proving that education is valuable at every stage of your career and that the best hairdressers never stop learning, PROJECT: X is an all-ages education program, providing 12 months of opportunities. Described as "the ultimate hairdressing finishing school", PROJECT: X aims to attract a broad and experienced calibre of participants from Fellowship member salons.

The team is led by Angelo Vallillo – session stylist, brand ambassador and salon owner – who brings with him a wealth of experience both within the Fellowship and on the global hairdressing stage.

If you have completed your basic training but want to keep growing your skills and experience, PROJECT: X offers a full year of mentoring and the opportunity to interact with some of the biggest names in British hairdressing. Areas covered include media awareness, training your eye, session work, presentation skills and stage work – and a photoshoot with a top photographer is also included.

To apply, fill out the application form at fellowshiphair.com and send it in along with 3 images of your colour work. These do not need to be professional.

The deadline to apply for both projects is noon on Thursday 22 October 2020.
