On Wednesday 29th September, we got back into the swing of things with a fun-packed launch for Indola’s new Care and Styling range, hosted at Plonk Crazy Golf in the heart of Camden market; the perfect spot for Indola’s streetstyle-inspired branding and innovative approach to hair.
Upon arrival, guests were treated to a choice of welcome drinks and adorned with floral Hawaiian garlands – perfectly setting the tone for a quirky and colourful afternoon. After a long overdue catchup over a few Rum Punch cocktails, Indola Marketing Manager Pauline Vanlaethem shared an overview of Indola’s latest launches, before handing over to Global Ambassador Andy Smith for his insight on the new range. Andy explained that Indola Care and Styling is the perfect concise range for independent stylists, and it really is as simple to use as #1, #2, #3 – #1 for wash, #2 for care and #3 for styling.
To bring the range to life, Indola hosted a catwalk show with a difference. Three street-style models strutted down the golf course, allowing Andy to demonstrate the versatility of the range and explain how he used his hero products to create three very different looks.
First up was Cannelle, whose Afro texture was treated to a dose of hydration using #1 Moisture Shampoo to enhance her beautiful curls. Jezebele then gave us all the luxury vibes with a long brunette look, styled with #2 Glamourous Oil for show-stopping shine. Closing the presentation, Maisie rocked an on-trend shaggy mullet, styled using #3 Texture Spray to enhance the shattered layers.
To top off a fun and informative afternoon, it was time to put the press through their paces with a round of crazy golf – allowing everyone to let their hair down, catch up with industry peers and friends and even enjoy one or two more cocktails... We can’t forget the delicious grazing cups provided by Berry and Brie either, keeping everyone fuelled for a slightly competitive round or two!
