Hairdressers, session stylists and press from around the globe gathered on Monday night for The Briefing. Presented by ghd’s global brand ambassador, Adam Reed - it was an event not to be missed.
As Adam guided the audience through his career, inspirations and trends, viewers from around the world were lucky enough to be a part of it. For the first time in ghd’s 15 year history, this event was live-streamed on ghdhair.com; from London to Dubai, New York and Sydney…The Briefing went global!
Global head of education, Jo Robertson welcomed Adam to the stage as he presented his models, starting with the most incredible wigs, Adam went on to recreate looks from memorable shows he’s worked on in his career.
Adam shared some of his hair history; in fact he’s celebrating his 30th hair anniversary this year. Talking through those that inspire him hair wise, how it’s been working on over 420 shows in the last 23 years, what drew him to hairdressing in the first place and how it is working with cool brand ghd testing and launching the very latest in hair technology innovation, Adam had the audience enthralled.
Presenting six models, Adam (with the lovely Ellenora Dean) showcased the first looks he created for the Henry Holland show, talked about the ‘hairberdashery’ crafting they create to ensure their looks are totally unique and played with dual textures and wigs, it was a feast for the eyes.
The Briefing is a fantastic opportunity for those that love hairdressing to come together and be inspired by someone like Adam Reed.
