1,200 stylists, salon owners and industry sales professionals came together for Eufora’s two-day, bi-annual event in San Diego, California.

Eufora International, one of the last independent and family-owned salon professional haircare brands, recently held their bi-annual 2019 Global Connection event at the stunning Marriott Marquis Hotel in San Diego. Eufora International has never been the typical salon professional haircare brand, and their Global Connection event was definitely not the typical industry event! More than 1,200 salon professionals from the UK, America and Japan came together for two days of educational events with a focus to encourage all individuals to “become what you imagine.”

From the get-go, the atmosphere was buzzing with enthusiasm. Sticking to tradition, Beth Bewley, co-founder and CEO of Eufora International, kicked off the event by pledging her commitment to serve hairdressers in every way possible, a mantra that the company has maintained since their founding in 1977. Keeping things personal, five Eufora National Trainers shared their own inspiring journeys to becoming successful hairstylists - from embracing cultural differences and overcoming adversity, to escaping international conflict zones after serving in the military.

The talented Erik Wahl, business strategist and graffiti artist, captivated the audience by sharing and demonstrating how creativity and artistry can lead to business success. Throughout the two days, stylists and salon owners were treated to several different classes such as business building and workshops. This was a great networking opportunity for the stylists and colourists to make memorable connections.

As well as a two-day, talent packed show, Eufora concluded the event with a black-tie gala where they named their 2019 Stylists of the Year winners. Creative Director, Philip Carreon and his Eufora team brought to life his latest inspiration ‘Urban Angels’ through a breathtaking production featured multi-media, performance artists and two dozen models. The whole event was a hit!

Debbie Digby, founder of Passion4Hair and UK distributor of Eufora said,

Global Connection is a fab opportunity for hairdressers from all around the world to meet, share ideas and get some inspiration to take back to their salons. With business classes and hands on workshops there is something for everyone. The highlight of the trip for the British contingent was Neil Smith’s show ‘Muse’, which featured a nod to BRITTANIA.
