Guappo Hair Design Clean Up At The English Hair & Beauty Awards

Guappo Hair Design in Shotton, County Durham scooped two big awards at the English Hair & Beauty Awards, which were held on Sunday 30th March at the Mercure Piccadilly  Hotel in Manchester.

Nominated by their loyal clients, Guappo walked away with Hair Salon of the Year North East and Men's Stylist of the Year - which was awarded to Samantha Unsworth.

Completing the hat trick of wins for Guappo was salon owner Phillip Unsworth's son Samuel, who won the award raffle and walked away with a brand new X BOX 360.

The Night was hosted by the glamorous Sally Hudson, presenter of Capital FM Manchester Drive Time along with the Capital FM team. It was a glittering affair with a selection of VIP’s attending to support the industry which makes us all look and feel like celebrities.

The official charity partner for this year’s English Hair & Beauty Awards event was the Make-A-Wish Foundation. UK donations raised on the night went directly to the charity. Make-A-Wish Foundation UK grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Since being established in the UK in 1986, they have granted over 7,800 wishes.
