Hair Salon is a Cut Above... And That’s Official

A Maldon high street hairdressers has been awarded the top rating by the Good Salon Guide.
Reed Hair, run by sisters Vicki Meredith, 55, and Jane Williams, was awarded by stars by the professional inspectors.
The pair launched the salon in 2007 and carried out a revamp in January, giving the venue a “luxury hotel” feel.
The salon has gradually expanded from an initial eight staff to employ 25 people. Vicki said,
We are over the moon. We feel privileged and very pleased. We haven’t had time to celebrate yet. Since our relaunch, our feet haven’t had time to touch the ground.
