Sunday afternoon began with a session on barbering which is becoming more and more popular with the rise of the modern man. Daniel Rymer, Matt Stark, Dylan Johnson and Manny Padron showcased four very different looks to inspire the world of men’s styling.

The first day of Global Session ended with an unbelievable finale, the world famous 901 girls Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri showcased some stunning celebrity-inspired looks and closed the show with a talk on social media, answering questions from the audience.

We were straight into Monday’s Global Session show with an exciting, interactive and live photo shoot with jet setting hairstylist Kevin Ryan and photographer Roberto Aguilar. Kevin speedily put together some beautiful editorial looks, took the models over to the on-stage photo studio and Roberto shot the looks with a live feed of the images being projected on stage for all to see. A true multi-tasker, Kevin also answered questions and gave tips on hairstyling for photo shoots.

Jason Liddiard, Estevan Garner and Jesse Gaines took creative cutting to another level with session two of the day, and Natasha Pearson developed her original looks from Sunday’s session into Warrior Princesses in the Editorial Session along with breath taking looks from Renee Africa and Cassi Young-Paxton.

Session four saw Shaun McGrath, Narad Kutowaroo and UNITE’s Creative Director Gary Baker take on some serious avant-garde styling and to end the Global Session presentations, special guest Nick Irwin took to the stage with a short film on his latest work and then demonstrated two key looks.

Throughout both the days we saw unique and innovative demonstrations from our International UNITE ambassadors showcasing the versatility of the UNITE products and the level of different styling that can be achieved using the UNITE range.

Tuesday and Wednesday this week held hands-on courses allowing the UNITE salons to learn and create the looks presented on stage over the weekend. The next two days were also an opportunity to take part in the Paramount Business 1 courses, interactive management training courses written and run by Founder and CEO of UNITE, Andrew Dale.
