Indie hair brand, HairFlair held a Luxury Moon & Stars pampering event at The May Fair Hotel’s Schiaparelli Suite to launch their new collection, Waveformers by HairFlair and their new limited edition, Bright as a Star hair accessories and Softhood.
Journalists, celebrities and influencers chose from a curl menu, and while their hair was set into shape, they enjoyed a choice of ritual treatments from gel nails, vegan glitter waxing, eyelash extensions, make-up, smudge stick making, tarot reading, sleep therapy, million dollar facials and massage. HairFlair also showcased their rebranding, including a new logo, website and packaging, as well as beautiful model imagery and videos art directed by Marie Claire’s, Lisa Oxenham.
Curlformers by HairFlair are an easy-to-use tool for heat-free, damage-free curls and waves and leave the hair looking healthy and shiny, with enviable holding power for lasting curls. New Waveformers work on the same principle of setting hair from damp to dry creating amazing hold, but with a looser result. The tools were used at the Julien Macdonald London Fashion Week Show S/S20 by hairdressers Karine Jackson and Ken Paves (Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria), who created a glamorous yet modern take on the bouffant. Guests were also introduced to Styleformers by HairFlair, a new range of four styling products specifically designed to enhance and nourish curls and waves, optimising their staying power. Press and Influencers had the chance to use the new limited edition HairFlair Moon & Stars Softhood, which fits most hairdryers - the biggest softhood on the market, and a game-changer for speedy setting!
Hair was styled by the team who worked on the Julien Macdonald LFW show including Karine Jackson and Sophia Osbourne (Karine Jackson Hair & Beauty); Ashleigh Hodges, Fidel Ranson (Gina Conway Salons & Spas); James Catalano, and brand educator Carolyn Walker, and guests were gifted the new limited edition Moon & Star hair accessories, a crescent moon clip and gold metal slide with gem embellishments and two sizes of star hair slides.
