HOB Salons Announces 2016 Varda Team

Award-winning salon group HOB have reintroduced the HOB Varda Team to their brand. On the 18th of February, stylists from the 26 salons attended the HOB Academy in Camden where they prepared their models and gave a five minute presentation to the Creative Team.

During their presentation they broke down their models looks, discussed their interpretation of the HOB brand, how their look fits into it, their personal strengths and why they want to be part of the HOB Varda Team. The HOB Creative Team then assessed and decided on the strongest candidates. Of the 28 stylists who auditioned, eight were chosen.

The HOB Varda Team programme was designed to provide a path for current stylists and technicians towards the creative side of the HOB brand. It was previously in place at HOB and previous Varda Team members include Jake Unger, who went on to join FAME Team, become a finalist for London Hairdresser of the Year in 2015 and is part of the HOB Creative Team.

The final eight will be provided with further training and creative opportunities, such as assisting and presenting at industry shows and shoots over the next year. They will work closely with the current HOB Creative and Education Team, led by International Creative Director Akin Konizi.
