HOB Salons Are on Stand by for Cancer ResearchÕs Stand up To Cancer

As the launch of one of the biggest campaigns in our battle against cancer gets under way, HOB Salons had their own part to play in support of Cancer Research UK.

Providing the facilities for the shoot of the latest series of advertisements for the campaign, the luxury HOB Salons surroundings were requested by the charity in the lead up to their fundraising extravaganza which aired on channel 4 on the 19th October.

Hosted by a range of celebrities including Davina McCall and Alan Carr, the 24 salon group were keen to help where they could and gladly welcomed the CRUK team to the Camden location for the day. Aiming to promote awareness and raise funds, the drive behind the campaign stresses that we are on the brink of discovering a cure for the disease.

Speaking on HOB’s involvement Director Paul Simbler says,

We always aim to support charity where we can and with Cancer being such a common affliction, affecting 1 in 3 people, we hope that our participation will have helped in the communication of this cause. I know our salon teams were all watching and with a whopping £6,483,995 raised so far we are hopefully on the way to finally having a cure for Cancer!
