HOB Salons were the hair care experts of choice for the Norwood Ladies Brunch where over 200 guests joined Karren Brady CBE for brunch at The Pillar Hotel. Raising an amazing £42,000 for Norwood, more than doubling the total raised the previous year, the money will help Norwood continue to deliver its life changing services to the people it supports, maximising their potential at home, in school and throughout life.
Close aide to Lord Sugar in The Apprentice, Karren's keen eye for 'the best’ saw the charity supported by HOB Salons who provided goody bags containing luxury products from Alterna hair care for all the attendees. Karren gave an inspirational talk on the ingredients needed to succeed in business with amusing anecdotes of her experiences as a working mum, and from a young woman running her first football club to her varied career spanning advertising, television and journalism.
Jo Rosenthal, Chair of the Ladies Lunch Committee said,
Thanks to Karren Brady for joining us at the Brunch and enthralling the crowd with her career in business from such a young age and in the male-dominated world of football. I’d also like to thank HOB Salons and Alterna Haircare for their luxury goody bags given to all guests, and everyone who donated raffle prizes and adverts. Most of all thanks to our guests for helping to make the event an incredible success by giving so generously.
