With the recent opening of dedicated male grooming salon, HOB Man, it was only right that the team stepped out in male solidarity by joining thousands of other gents for the popular Movember challenge.

Raising awareness for male related cancers, the elite barbering team will be growing moustaches for the now global charity which has exploded in recent years. Starting from scratch on the 1st of November all eleven barbers will continue to grow and style their facial hair for the duration of the month.

Not the only branch to get in the charity spirit and calling a little early on the season of goodwill, other salons in the Award winning hairdressing group enjoyed a pink presence in the salons as they dressed up and raffled prizes throughout Breast Cancer awareness month, October.

HOB Southgate, HOB Potters Bar and HOB St. Albans all took part raising hundreds of pounds for the fight against the disease which affects so many of us.

Speaking on their day, HOB St. Albans Stylist and Hair Care Expert Kelly Sears said,

We raised £400!! There was an amazing response to the GHD raffle with over 1000 tickets sold, going the extra mile made all the difference so we cooked cakes for the occasion, which went down a treat and dressed up in pink tutus. We hope that we have helped in this fight against such a common illness and are already thinking about what we can do next year.
