Throughout 2018 the IGORA #RoyalTakeOver sees three of the most inspiring digital hairdressing influencers team-up with three of the world's leading session colourists. In January, the IGORA #RoyalTakeOver bought us DUSTED ROUGE, where UK-based, Schwarzkopf Professional Colour Ambassador, Lesley Jennison (@lesleyjennison) and Brazilian Colour Specialist, Jean Philippe Santos (@phjean) joined forces to reinvent red. Now the IGORA #RoyalTakeOver co-creation story continues with DISHEVELED NUDES; a collection of new nude tones that push the powdery colour palette to the edge by adding contrast and character...

IGORA #RoyalTakeOver DISHEVELED NUDES
DISHEVELED NUDES has been co-created by Australia-based, International Schwarzkopf Professional Ambassador, Matt Clements (@mattclements_colourist) and Spanish Colour Visionnaire and member of X-Presion, Jorge Cáncer (@expresioncreativos). Their combined inspiration and creative process allowed them to develop a new take on nude tones: vanguard nuances with tarnished blues and greens full of character keep the shades strong and edgy, yet still soft at the same time... a perfect take on the modern nude.
Looks and Services: DISHEVELED NUDES
This IGORA #RoyalTakeOver colour collection offers six subtle and disruptive DISHEVELED NUDES shades, from powdery blondes and pastels to darker, shadowy tones. Plus, with the new IGORA #RoyalTakeOver Pastelfier the tone directions can be diluted for endless creativity!
Two new in-salon colour services have been developed to create the key looks:
Vanguard Pixel Nudes – Jorge Cáncer’s signature look
A head-turning ‘go-viral’ look, created with the Organic Pixel Technique; a soft base colour, sliced with green and purple tonal placements, forms sharp, graphic lines for added dimension and texture.
My vision is nude tones 2.0! Soft hues are broken-up with greenish and purplish tones for head-turning looks. A perfect colour mix for my signature pixel colouring technique. – Jorge Cáncer
Vanguard Shadowing Nudes – Matt Clements’ signature look
This look is soft with an edge, thanks to the Organic Shadow Technique; dusted blue and pink pastel tones contrast against rich gold hues, adding depth and character for a multi-tonal finish.
I wanted to create an edge to the nude tones by adding contrast and character. We created soft yet vanguard nuances, that are incredibly wearable at the same time. – Matt Clements
