About the founder, Sarah Murrell

Prior to founding BY SARAH, Sarah spent ten years in branding and communications, working in-house for the Estée Lauder Companies, L’Oréal and Unilever. Sarah’s inspiration and motivation to help people make natural, organic skincare and wellness choices began with her sister’s recovery from cancer in 2012. While searching for gentle, natural and organic products - those that would soothe and nourish her sister’s delicate skin - she found that it was impossible to tell what was in the products. Many natural and organic ranges had long, cryptic ingredient lists with confusing and misleading labelling.

Sarah began to blend her own products by hand from carefully curated, organic and sustainably-sourced plant-based ingredients, so that she knew exactly what was in them. She soon found that her refined botanical formulas didn’t just work for her sister; soon, friends and family were asking for her creations too.

Sarah became an expert in blending an exact balance of plant-based oils to provide deep hydration and nourish even the most sensitive of skins, with the finest of her blends becoming BY SARAH.

A light and nourishing organic facial oil, with only all-natural and certified organic, cold-pressed, plant-based oils. Suitable for all skin types and for vegans.

BODY OIL - 99% organic, 100% natural (100ml £32.00)

A handcrafted blend of deeply nourishing certified organic, plant-based oils to soften and hydrate dry or dehydrated skin. Suitable for vegans.

LIP BALM - 100% organic (15ml £12.00)

A soothing and protective balm, handcrafted using 100% certified organic ingredients to soften, nourish and hydrate throughout the day. Suitable for all skin types.

BATH SALTS - 100% Natural and made in England (RPP: £20.00)

Relax and unwind with these 100% natural bath salts made only with the finest ingredients from the earth and seas.

French Pink Clay is rich in trace elements, such as iron and calcite, which aid the regeneration of skin cells and help to moisturise the skin. Dead Sea Salts and Pink Himalayan Salts are known for their uniquely-high mineral content to revive your skin and relax your muscles.

Add a sprinkle of the Bath Salts to warm bathwater and allow the salts to dissolve. Enjoy as your skin soaks in the minerals it needs to stay healthy and let your muscles relax.

GREEN CLAY CLEANSING BALM - 84% Organic, 100% Natural and made in England (RPP: £27.00 (+£2.50 for Organic Muslin Face Cloth))

A gentle cleansing balm for both morning and evening use made with all-natural and certified-organic ingredients. Removes make-up and impurities; leaving the skin smooth and nourished.

French Green Clay is a bio-mineral, deriving its green colour from kelp and algae, naturally rich in trace minerals such as calcium and magnesium, which help to balance the skin and control excess oil, giving you a glowing complexion. Organic Apricot Oil and Organic Virgin Coconut Oil work together to gently cleanse your skin, removing impurities, whilst providing long-lasting nourishment. Organic Beeswax is a powerful anti-inflammatory and provides a source of vitamin A to promote new healthy skin cells. Suitable for all skin types. Never tested on animals.
