Introducing Schwarzkopf Professional YAT 2016

Schwarzkopf Professional is very proud to present the latest styling stars of the 2016 Young Artistic Team.

The six winners were selected after an intense day of proving their skills and technique to an elite industry judging panel at the ASK Academy in London on 17th January. Judges included two-times North Eastern Hairdresser of the Year Joseph Ferraro, session stylist Leighanne Regan and Schwarzkopf Professional ambassador Tim Scott-Wright.

2016’s YAT can look forward to exciting opportunities such as their very own photo shoot, training from Schwarzkopf’s renowned ambassadors, stage presentations and a wealth of education sessions. They have already been treated to a presentation skills day with Fellowship Team mentor Joey Ferraro and a talk with Fellowship Ambassador Errol Douglas.

They will be led for the year by YAT managers Catherine Adams and Jamie Farrar. Catherine says,

I have a great feeling about this year’s team! They are full of passion, talent and an eagerness to learn. Here’s to a year of new experiences!

Jamie says,

The judges had a really tough decision to make this year but we have a great team for 2016 with lots of amazing personalities! They’ll be kick starting the year with London Fashion Week before working with our Schwarzkopf Professional ambassadors through the rest of the year and finishing with an end of year photo shoot. I can’t wait to see how much they grow personally and professionally!

Judge Tim Scott-Wright was thrilled to be a part of the judging process.

I love to see the young talent that comes from our fantastic industry so it was an honour to judge this year. The competitors were all amazing and we have picked some extremely promising team members. I can’t wait to work with them in their upcoming year!
