ITV1Õs This Morning & Jamie Stevens launch apprentice competition

Brace yourself for the most exciting TV competition of 2011!  This Morning resident and Celebrity Hairdresser of the Year Jamie Stevens is searching for an apprentice… The lucky winner will become Jamie’s assistant on This Morning, win a fabulous kit bag packed with hairdressing goodies, and other exclusive prizes and opportunities.

The competition will take place on the show over 5 weeks from March, apply online from February 1 at www.itv.com/thismorning - the competition is open to juniors in the early stages of NVQ 1 and salons can nominate juniors, or they can nominate themselves.  Please see www.itv.com/thismorning for all terms and conditions (from February 1).

Jamie will be setting LIVE challenges, which will be judged every week with one person being eliminated from the final 6 until the victor is crowned Jamie’s Apprentice on ITV1's flagship daytime show, This Morning.

Jamie has been named The Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s Hair Ambassador of the Year.  His clients include Gok Wan, Elle Macpherson, Eva Herzigova, Hugh Grant, Kylie, Stella McCartney, Myleene Klass and more; Jamie is the mentor for the Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s Clubstar initiative and is passionate about training and education for young hairdressers.
