Jack Howard Takes Balayage Education to India

International colourist and the UK’s leading Balayage expert, Jack Howard at Paul Edmonds has taken his worldwide Balayage course to India with L’Oreal Professionnel.

Jack, who’s based at Paul Edmonds in London, is also the UK Colour Spokesperson for L’Oreal Professionnel and is world-renowned for his beautiful, natural colour techniques – he’s widely credited with bringing Balayage to the UK and has taught freehand colouring to thousands of other colourists internationally.

The bespoke course started with Jack presenting the facts and figures for colour in the Indian market before explaining how his Balayage technique can be learnt and taken instantly into the salon, and is an incredibly profitable addition to the colour menu. The second part of the day gave Jack the chance to demonstrate the technique, teaching the delegates perfect application.

Of his time in India Jack says,

It was a totally fascinating experience for me. I was lucky to work with such an enthralled group of people who wanted to learn. The market is technically similar to my time working in Dubai where I was working alongside hairdressers whose clients included Bollywood stars. I really enjoy working with salons overseas to show them what we’re doing in the UK and how it will work for their own salon audience.
