Jacks of London launches new product range with Premiership support to celebrate 20th year on British high streets.

The UK’s leading barbers, Jacks of London, is celebrating its 20th year on British high streets by launching their own exclusive ‘True Gent’ range of male grooming products - while also becoming the ‘official men’s grooming partner’ to England football star, Jack Butland.

After two successful decades in the industry, and after trying pretty much every gent’s hair product on the market, Jacks thought it was high time they put their passion, expertise and creativity into some bottles and onto their shelves.

The new True Gent range of products are made in Great Britain and have been developed by Jacks’ team of top barbers and industry professionals with a huge amount of experience at the forefront of the male grooming industry. They have been ruthlessly researched and thoroughly tested on Jacks’ loyal customers.

A very exciting product launch party took place at the Guildford store on the evening of 26th November, a whole range of guests from Jacks clients to business partners and local press, as well as special guest, England and Stoke City Goal Keeper Jack Butland, enjoyed sipping on lime and pomegranate infused signature cocktails including ‘The True Gent’ and ‘The OMB’ (Original Modern Barber) to the sound of a fantastic live acoustic performance from an up-and-coming British artist, Samuel Jack and his band. Guests also chatted to Jacks’ new signee and special celebrity guest, England Goalkeeper Jack Butland, who said,

I’m a big fan of Jacks of London and what they do. They’re awesome guys and it’s got such a relaxed laid back vibe. The launch night was a really fun evening. I got a sharp new haircut and beard trim ready for my game against Sunderland on Saturday, and all my Stoke team mates were trying to steal my cool new Jacks products from my kit bag! I told them that we’ll all be able to become regulars soon when Jacks opens up a bit closer to home in Manchester.

The feedback on the True Gent products and its vibrant packaging was really positive, as guests were looked after by a professional team of barbers who helped to create the unique range of products, and were given exclusive True Gent goodie bags to take home. Jack Butland also got the star treatment with a sharp new haircut and beard trim from Jacks’ top barber, Stephen Gasparetto.

The True Gent range consists of seven individual hair products, all suitably branded for the modern man, with names such as Hassle Free, Bulk Up and Head Strong.

Sue Whitehead, Owner of Jacks of London brand, says,

It has taken a lot of time and testing and all of my 20 years’ experience in the industry to bring this new range to production. I am now extremely excited and can't wait to get them into all our Jacks stores.

We believe our new product range will perfectly complement our in store services and meet the highest expectations of our customers - the modern man.

Each product combines the fresh citrus smell of lime with sweet subtle tones of pomegranate for an incredibly clean, masculine smell.

‘The Original Modern Barber’, Jacks of London, offers customers free beer and entertainment while they wait and is open seven days a week with a no appointments system.

Jacks first opened up shop in Wimbledon 20 years ago in 1995, and now also have stores in Kingston, Guildford, Birmingham, Bristol and Nottingham, with Manchester and Southampton set to open in 2016.
